Gold Foiled Flower Cards & Envelopes

by Bonnie Hershfeldt, January 25, 2024

Happy Thursday!  How is your week going?  I can't believe we are close to the last week of January 2024 already!  I'm constantly trying to figure out what I do with my hours in my day.  I do enjoy reading historical fiction about World War II, but I only spend an hour in the morning and an hour at lunch - so where does the rest of the hours go - lol!  I'm looking forward to my MRI next week to figure out what is going on with my knee - it's so annoying!

I was inspired this week by Patty Bennett's Gold Foiled Flower Cards that I lost track of time and didn't get to my Everyday Details Cards for today's Facebook live.  (I had audio issues last night so I went live today at 12pm)  So I punted and I showcased two cards that I made with the Gold Foiled Flower Cards & Envelopes based upon Patty Bennett's inspiration.

The beautiful Gold Foiled Flower Cards & Envelopes are a dream to pretty up with Blending Brushes and ink.  In keeping with the 2 for 1 cards theme, I used the Perennial Postage Dies to die cut a center rectangle and used that rectangle for the second card! Another easy peasy set of cards!!

These 2 cards were made with Ink, Stamp, Paper, ribbon and pearls and one of my favorite tools - Blending Brushes!  I used Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, and Garden Green inks to "color" the gold foiled flower paper.  I used Daffodil Delight and Tahitian Tide for the butterflies.

I made two more cards from this stamp set and dies - one version in Highland Heather, Tahitian Tide and Gorgeous Grape and the other in Pretty Peacock.

Next Wednesday's Facebook Live will showcase the Everday Details Cling Stamp Set and the Everyday Details Dies.  I'll stay focused this weekend and not get distracted.  Come craft along with me next week at 6:30pm (mt)!  I really did enjoy going live today at 12pm - hmmm - maybe a better time in the future?

Get ready for my 2024 January - April Launch Party!  Get ready for my retired products sale to Saturday, 2/3!  I so darn close to turning up my online shop - I half of the inventory completed and figured out a new way to display bundles so have a little rework to do, but I should have all in place by next weekend!

Enjoy your weekend!  I hope you have time to spend in your craft room and create something beautiful.  Take care and ....

KEEP ON CRAFTING!
