Abundant Beauty Autumn Card

by Bonnie Hershfeldt, October 26, 2023

Happy Thursday!  Ready to play with Decorative Masks!  What the heck is a Decorative Mask?  Decorative masks are Stampin' Up!'s fancy name for stencils!  Stencils are an excellent way to create fun, creative backgrounds for your cards and scrapbook pages.  If you haven't tried one - what are you waiting for?  Jump in with a piece of cardstock, your Blending Brushes or Sponge Daubers, your favorite inks and create a masterpiece!

Today's Facebook Live show cased the Abundant Beauty Decorative MasksTrucking Along and Pick of the Patch Bundles for a sweet Autumn greeting card.

I used some of my favorite fall colors:  Cajun CrazeCherry CobblerCrushed CurryMossy Meadow, Pebbled PathPecan Pie, and Pumpkin Pie.  I love the Oxidized Copper 12" x 12" Specialty Paper for crafting with fall projects.  The copper paper is just like the rich spices used in Autumn cooking - lol!  (Can you tell it's lunch time and that Chicken Noodle Soup is beckoning to me!)

The Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks not only have this fun Autumn mask, but there is a fun plaid mask, a sweet set of falling snowflakes mask, and a series of masks to create a fabulous layered Sunflower mask.  During the Facebook live this evening, I demoed the Snowflake mask with Balmy Blue and Starry Sky with a Blending Brushes.  The Snowflake mask would make an excellent background using the Shimmery White Embossing Paste mixed with your favorite blue ink refill and a Palette Knife for some sparkling snowflakes!  I then demoed the "plaid" mask using Real Red cardstock, Tuxedo Black Memento ink and a Blending Brush.  This can make some amazing rustic backgrounds for any holiday project!
