Trucking Along Flower Card

 Happy Wednesday!  Today was a summer maintenance day at my home.  Do you ever have any days where it seems the door is revolving a bit?  First thing this morning was the visit from the pest control company.  We love where our home sits with a golf course behind us and a bit of open space on the side and front of us.  But this brings all kinds of critters, bugs and yes, even an occasional snake - eek!  Then it was the cleaning crew.  Yes, I'm spoiled!  I continued with my cleaning crew after I retired as it is getting more difficult to get down on my hands and knees as I get older.  After they had everything sparkling, I decided it was time to clean the oven and wash the rugs.  I feel like I got something accomplished today - or I should say the home had some accomplished today - lol!!!  

I had yet to sit down and work on cards this week so it was a challenge to get something ready for today's Facebook Live.  I mentioned last week that I would create with the Trucking Along Bundle!  Sadly, the Trucking Along Builder Punch is sold out and will be available approximately October 16.  The truck isn't too difficult to fussy cut so if you want to create with the stamp get yours now!  Or make lots of cut stamped trucks and then use your punch when it's available!  

The card I created today was partially cased from Charlet Mallett who demonstrated this new bundle during Creativity Now back in June.  I used her fun tag that provided the foundation for the truck to set upon and her sentiment and tag.  Her card had numerous trucks stamped on the card front and she used the 2023 - 2024 In Colors. 

I used a bright color scheme today selected from Stampin' Up!'s Color Coach.  I'm not sure I like the Blackberry Burst in this trio as it's really dark.  What do you think?  

The Trucking Along Photopolymer Stamp Set has 21 image and 5 sentiments where the images are two set stamp images.  You can either use the two step stamps to create your stamped images or use the outline stamps and color with Stampin' Blend Markers or Stampin' Write Markers for the images to place inside the truck bed.  

The Trucking Along Builder Punch can be used to punch out the stamped image, or build a truck with colored cardstock, designer series and/or specialty papers.  

The badge tag created with the All That Dies where the truck sets is a easy to make.  I hope to use this on fun award tags in the future!  

Lastly, the Colors & Contours Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Scalloped Contour Dies made the sweet, artsy sunflowers to finish the card.  I hadn't created with this set for a very long time and it has always been one of my favorites.  I just forget sometimes to look at what is on my stamp shelf.  Does that ever happen to you?
