Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations August Crafty Challenge Blog Hop!  I hope you enjoy hopping along today with this talented group for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they meet the challenge!  To hop along, click on the next talented blogger in the list at the end of my blog!

I've been wanting to create with the out of this galaxy Stargazing Suite Collection.  This challenge gave me the opportunity to do that today!  I chose the astronaut for today's card.  The space shuttle would have been a great choice as well!

Today's Crafty Challenge Blog Hop is inspired by a card sketch designed by Stefanie Pletscher (The Crafty Medic)!  I love working with card sketches as they jump start the designing process for a layout.  I can then use whatever color/stamp set/dies/punches I may have yet to play with.  Here is today's inspiration.  What do you see yourself making?

I had lots of fun playing with all oif the colorful paper.  The circle dies that come in this bundle make cutting out all of the colorful planets a snap.  As this is the first time I created with this bundle, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the circles as they will come in handy for many projects in the future!  And don't forget to cut out the partial planets from the edges of the DSP!  They come in very handy!  I used two on the edges of my card today!

The Stargazing Suite Collection includes the:  Reach for the Stars Bundle (cling stamp set and dies)Stargazing 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper and Holographic 12" x 12" Specialty Paper Pack Trio.  The Holographic paper is so gorgeous.  I die cut stars from two of the papers to embellish my card.

My favorite product from this suite is the Stargazing 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper.

Hands down, this is another fabulous package of amazing paper full of colors to craft with!  This DSP would be amazing for scrapbooking those trips to the planetarium!  Twenty years ago, we were in Tucson and visited the Kit Peak Observatory - what an adventure this was for my young boys.  We went on the evening tour and were treated to viewing constellations in the dark night sky of the desert, viewing Saturn and nebulas through the huge telescopes!

Thank you for hopping along today!  I hope you have some inspiration to try out this simple card template!  Please leave a comment below on how this has inspired you!
