Circle Sayings Thinking of You Card

 Happy Wednesday!  Whew - it's hot!  Summer is finally blazing with above 90 degree temperatures here in Frederick, Colorado.  The only good thing is that we don't have humidity.  I wilt in our heat, but I totally wilt in high temps/high humidity!  I'm hiding out in the stamping studio in the air conditioning during the heat of the day.  How do you stay cool?  

Today's Facebook Live card is a simple stamping card with just a little bit of ink blending.  For a beginner stamper, you don't need to do the ink blending and it's still a sweet little card to send someone that you have been thinking about!  The Circle Sayings Bundle is one bundle that delivers on simple!

I used the Stampin' Up! 2023 - 2024 Color Coach for today's card color combination.  This is a fantastic resource if you need a little color inspiration!  Download this today and save for a day when you need a jump on your creativity!  Today, I especially was drawn to Calypso Coral!  

After looking at the Color Coach Chart for Calypso Coral and it's coordinating colors, I settled on the Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Lost Lagoon color scheme.  The Inked Botanicals 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper is a perfect coordinating paper pack for these colors!  

I used Pool Party for the card base, Inked Botanicals print, Lost Lagoon for a stamped background and then Pool Party ink blended background for the sentiment.  The sentiment was stamped in Calypso Coral for the floral spray and Lost Lagoon for the words.  The Pool Party 3/8" Grosgrain ribbon was perfect to embellish the card front.  Lastly, the white sequins from the Adhesive-backed Sequins Trio finished off this card.  

I did step up the inside of the card by blending Pool Party ink lightly in the middle of the card stock with my Blending Brushes in the middle the paper.  I stamped with the "Sending Sunshines & Rainbows" sentiment from the Kindest Expressions Cling Stamp Set with Lost Lagoon.  I then stamped another set of the circular floral spray with Calypso Coral at the bottom right corner of the card.
