Today, I attended a Stampin' Up! event called Creativity Now!  We gathered our paper, ink and supplies including a new bundle called Translucent Florals that will be launching later this year.  I had such a great day making 6 beautiful cards that I had to make a couple of more!  I used Mary Knabe's card design from today's Creativity Now! to create this birthday card created with the Beautiful Balloons Bundle.  I'm so excited to share my results with you in today's blog hop!

Sometimes I get stuck when designing a card and I forget about some of the simple but stunning techniques to making a lovely card, like using embossing folders, Vellum and Stampin' Blend Markers.  Mary Knabe reminded me today during her demonstration how much I truly love using these products.  

The balloons are made with Vellum Basics 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Paper and Stampin' Blends.  I colored the back side of the vellum with Highland Heather for the large balloon and Pool Party and Lemon Lolly Stampin' Blends for the small balloons.  Using the large brush end of the markers makes quick work for this technique!
