Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday Blog Hop - 4/30/23

by Bonnie Hershfeldt, April 30, 2023

Happy Sunday!  Today is the Crafty Collaborations Facebook group's Share It Sunday Blog Hop.  Hop along and see what this group of talented demonstrators from around the world have been working on this week!  To hop along, click on the next talented blogger in the list at the end of my blog!

I've been catching up on a lot of projects since my mom fell on 4/17!  Luckily, she didn't break anything, however, she has been in a rehab center since then.  We are all hoping for her to return this coming week.  However, she will need additional assistance and possibly, a wheelchair for transferring go forward.  On the search!

This week was my last week as my upline, Joey Hartman's Love to Create Team Stamper of the Month.  I chose the Sea Turtle Photopolymer Stamp Set as my stamp of the month for April.  This is a keeper for me - I won't be parting with this one.  I have had so much fun making turtles - who would have thought - lol!  And there are so many more turtles swimming around in my head that need to be created with paper and ink!

While I was coming up with this last card, I was preparing for my Facebook Live this week where I had my unboxing of my new 2023 - 2024 Annual Catalog Pre-order.  When I receive my new DSP, I make up display sheets of each paper pack.  I was working on the Fresh as a Daisy 12" x 12" DSP and found this awesome background paper with Pretty Peacock (my favorite returning color) and Granny Apple Green.  It was perfect for a turtle card and so easy to take off from there!

I really wanted to use my new ink pads showcasing some of my favorite new colors.  I used Pretty Peacock for the turtle shell and the ocean bubbles, Lemon Lime Twist for the turtles body, and Lost Lagoon for the blending background for the sentiment label.  The sentiment came from the Happy Hedgehogs Photopolymer Stamp Set.  I hadn't really used it since I purchased it last year.  I am so happy it is still available as this sentiment is amazing!  I think I need to play with this one very soon!  It really is a very cute set!  Can you imagine how your special friend would feel when they pull this out of the envelope?

Please note:  Many of the products used in today's card are not yet available to link to my online store until May 2nd.  I'll come back on Tuesday and update today's blog post when they are available.

Here is another Sea Turtle card I made for my 3rd week post (I missed last week due to my mom's fall).  I had little sea turtles swimming around in my head along with all the bright beautiful colors available in the new catalog.

My husband and I are heading out to NYC next weekend for a 7 day cruise to Bermuda.  We have never been and are looking forward to seeing the pink sand beaches and wouldn't that be a hoot if we got to see a turtle!  LOL!

I hope that I provided you some inspiration using a much enjoyed stamp set and some of the new refreshed colors available to you from my online store beginning on May 2nd!   I would love to hear from you in the comments below!

I invite you to hop onto the next talented Crafty Collaborations' demonstrators' blog participating in today's Crafty Challenge Blog Hop!  Have fun hopping and...

KEEP ON CRAFTING!
