I have been waiting to create cards from the Best Day Cling Stamp Set. The two images included in this stamp set are so much fun to color in your favorite color combinations. The cat in the cupcake liner is so cute with his little hat and little bow tie.
After finishing up preparing the floral mask production line, I had some time to try out the 3 line mask within the products package before hubby came home from work. And of all things, I was thinking about watermelons! LOL! I pulled out Sweet Sorbet and Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin' Pads and started playing with the masks and my Blending Brushes. I made two backgrounds one with the alternating the lines going in the same direction - I used this background for the Happy Birthday Cake. I kept with the same color scheme for the Birthday Cake. I would love to see this cake done up for my mom's 88th Bday in July - what do you think?
I then tried alternating the lines going in different directions for each color for the cat cupcake. I really like the alternating directions best! And the cat in the cupcake is so stinking cute! Which one do you like best?
The inside of the card has a bit of sparkle! I stamped the twinkling candles with Tuxedo Black ink, blended with So Saffron ink and then brushed with a little bit of Wink of Stella! What a fun Birthday card!
