Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations March 2023 Crafty Challenge Blog Hop!  I hope you enjoy hopping along today with this talented group for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they meet the challenge!  To hop along, click on the next talented blogger in the list at the end of my blog!

I found a card sketch designed by Mary Fish (#59) a few weeks ago when I was designing a card for my recent Queen Bee card class.  I love this layered card design - it's easy and oh so colorful!  Today's Crafty Challenge is to use 5 luscious Stampin' Up! colors:  Pacific Point, Tahitian Tide, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Garden Green!  This is an amazing color combination to herald in Spring!  I love the springtime images from the Queen Bee Cling Bundle.

What do you see when you see these beautiful colors?  I see the Colorado Blue Sky, with bright yellow daffodils blooming amongst the spring green grass!  Or in some towns - the bright yellow of dandelions!  The only time of year that I think dandelions are pretty - LOL!

I used Pacific Point, Tahitian Tide and Basic White as my foundation layers for my card.  I love how the blues pop!  The Stitched Rectangles Dies were used to give each and every layer just a little bit of texture.  I then embossed a piece of Vellum with the Hives 3D Embossing folder to give a little bit of texture before putting the additional layers down.  Next came a layer of Garden Green and a yellow print from the Rain or Shine 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper - another great springtime paper to design with!  I stamped the floral image from the Queen Bee Cling Stamp set with Garden Green ink and colored the flowers with Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.  I die cut the small leaf cluster with Garden Green and large and small flowers from Mango Melody from the Queen Bee Dies.  The sentiment is from the Framed Florets Photopolymer Stamp Set.  I stamped it with Pacific Point ink, die cut with a square from the Stylish Shapes Dies and then distressed with a Blending Brush using Daffodil Delight.  I had to add a sweet bee die cut from Basic Black and Gold Foil.  I embellished the 3 flowers with Rhinestone Basic Jewels with Dark Tahitian Tide Stampin' Blends!

I carried this springtime colorful theme into the inside of the card as well.  I stamped the sentiment from the Framed Florets Photopolymer Stamp Set with Pacific Point ink and then blended a strip over the sentiment with Daffodil Delight ink using a Blending Brush.  I stamped the sweet little bee with Pacific Point ink, colored the flower with a Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend and then brushed the wings with Wink of Stella!
