Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Facebook Group Share It Sunday Blog Hop.  I hope you enjoy hopping along today with this talented group for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators as they share what they have been working on this week!  To hop along, click on the next talented blogger in the list at the end of my blog!

I was finishing up on a few Valentine's day cards earlier this week and I hadn't yet had a chance to play with the Love Cats Cling Stamp Set.  These silly cats are so adorable.  Even though they are giving lots of love and a couple of the sentiments are really geared towards Valentine's Day, I thought this stamp set would make great friendship cards to give as a thank you to my January customers.  (I'm a tad late getting mine in the mail this month as we just returned from a 7 day Caribbean cruise and I'm waiting on Amazon to deliver my shipping envelopes.  Yes - I had to get some warm sunshine in as it's been a cold and dreary winter!)

I made a couple of variations of the "I love hanging out with you" cards.  This one features what I call the "lazy cat" just lounging around on the gingham table cloth.  He looks so comfy!  The sentiment inside the card is "Thank you for being part of my life" from the By My Side Cling Stamp Set (page 52 of the 2022 - 2023 Annual Catalog).  I'm sure if the cute little dachshund from this stamp set saw this cat's tail hanging from the table, he would be carrying on!  My sweet little dachshunds in doggie heaven would certainly be carrying on - LOL!

The other variation showcases the cat on a "wire", again just hanging out.  I hadn't yet to use my Like An Animal 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper that I was lucky to win at On Stage 2023 in Dallas this last November.  One side is gold or silver foiled animal print and the other side is a complimentary animal print - big cats, zebras, fish (mermaids/mermen!), and lizards are all represented.

So it was time to pull this out for a background for this silly black cat!

I used my Stamparatus to stamp my cats and the outside sentiments as I wanted a dark crisp black.  Using the Stamparatus allows you to stamp the same image multiple times without any movement!  I love my Stamparatus - not sure what I did without it before.  Settled for light black images or spent hours trying to line up the stamp again without a halo I suppose - lol!
