On the Farm Thinking of You

The holidays are almost over!  My son, David, flew home via Southwest Airlines yesterday to NYC.  It was touch and go the last few days with the Southwest meltdown.  We had our fingers crossed on Tuesday evening when we saw that many of  Southwest's Wednesday flights including 3 out of 4 non stop flights to NYC were cancelled.  I originally had him booked on a late afternoon flight - but we changed that a few months ago.  Fortunately, the flight I had rebooked him on was the only Southwest non stop to NYC on Wednesday that wasn't cancelled - Hallelujah!  It was delayed by one hour - but it took off and he landed safely back in NYC earlier last night evening.  I was so sad to see him leave, but I am so relieved that he made it back to his home without incident.  I feel badly for so many holiday travelers that were stranded and/or lost their luggage due to delayed flights and cancellations.  I really do like flying Southwest, but we will sadly avoid booking them for an upcoming trip to Orlando in February for a Caribbean cruise. 

The minute I got home yesterday afternoon, I raced into my stamping studio to prep for my Facebook Live today.  I wanted to showcase more new 2023 January - April Mini and Sale-A-Bration products.  I picked up many products and finally settled on the On the Farm Bundle and the Day at the Farm 12" x 12" DSP.  I'm really excited about this product as there are so many fun ways to make farm scenes with the stamp images, coordinating dies and the DSP.  The DSP has some really great large scenes that are perfect for the scrapbooker!  

I was having so much fun designing this card, that I designed 5 more cards for a future card class.  I really needed to be working on samples for my upcoming launch party, but I just couldn't put the adorable farm animals away!  

This fun Thinking of You card uses stamped images/coordinating dies and DSP/coordinating dies along with a great background print!  I used sentiments from the By My Side cling stamp set as I thought that they were perfect for this set!

We had another round of weather blow in late yesterday - rain that turned to a heavy snow storm already dropping about 4 inches here in Frederick.  I'm so fortunate to be able to stay indoors and not have to travel out on the slippery roads!  Please be safe if you are out and about in the Frederick/Denver area!  If you can, stay home and retreat to your craft room, please play with your paper, ink and stamps and ...
