I hope you had a very Happy Thanksgiving. I'm so thankful for having wonderful crafting friends to share our love for papercrafting! I'm extremely thankful that I was able to spend this Thanksgiving with all of my family - minus my youngest son. But he will be here for Christmas - yet another thing to be thankful for!
We had a great time making snowmen and snowflakes last weekend. It's just always a great day when I can have crafting friends over to create and learn from each other. I learned how to use dental floss to remove dimensionals that are adhered to a card front. Brilliant!
This weekend, I worked on designing gift packaging projects for my last class of this year. I found a few fun projects to make a folding gift bag, a couple of gift card holders, candy bar stocking stuffer, and a gift box. I had fun playing with stamp sets that I had yet to use - Delivering Cheer, Joyful Life and Be Jolly. I fell in love with the Christmas Tree Delivery girl with her overcoat and boots. There are the cutest small set of leg warmers that I dressed my girl in! The best thing ever is that you can dress your delivery girl in any color that you desire! What color would you color her coat? How about her mittens and leg warmers? It's like playing with paper dolls again!
- Cut Kraft 6" x 6" paper at 4 3/4" x 6". Score at 3" with the 6" at the top of the Paper Trimmer. When folded card will measure 4 3/4" x 3"

- Cut Kraft 6" x 6" paper at 2 7/8" x 2 3/4. Using a circle punch (retired) or Layering Circle Dies, cut a small "moon" in the center of the 2 7/8" top. Adhere the sides and bottom only to the inside left of the card with Tear n' Tape making sure to get as close to the edge as possible to leave space inside the pocket for the gift card.
- Stamp the tree and the coat with boots from the Delivering Cheer Photopolymer stamps with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto scraps of Basic White cardstock. Stamp the leggings over the legs on the stamped image with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Fussy cut each unit.
- Color the tree with Evening Evergreen Stampin' Blends Combo using both dark and light to blend.
- Color the sleeves and the coat with Just Jade Stampin' Blends Combo using both dark and light to blend.

- Color the trunk of the tree with Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.
- Color the remaining stripes in the mitten cuff and leg warmers with Dark Daffodil Stampin' Blends.
- Add Wink of Stella to the black boots and the tree.
- Adhere the tree unit and the coat unit with Stampin' Seal or small bead of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Adhere to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Cut Red Herringbone print from Painted Christmas 12" x 12" DSP at 6 1/4" x 6 3/4". Score at 1 3/4" and 3" with the 6 1/4" along the top. Score at 3/4" and 1 1/4" with the 6 3/4" along the top.

- Punch a slit from the middle of the top flap with the Label me Fancy Punch about 1/4" down from the top edge.
- Place Tear n' Tape vertically along the edge of the 1 3/4" flap. Remove the top of the tape and fold over the 2" flap.
