What a beautiful November Sunday! Hope you all were able to enjoy the outdoors. My oldest son went hunting for the first time this weekend - but no luck. More chilly in the upper mountains - 20 degrees at night. They were camped higher up and the elk and deer moved downwards to get warmer. Hubby cleaned out my garden and we still had loads of Salsa Chilies due to the warmer weather. My little tree in my front yard is shedding it's leaves - by next weekend the beautiful golden beauty will be all gone - heavy sigh! But I'm ready for it to get cooler and maybe even a tiny bit of snow! Lol!
The creative smoke has been coming from my craft room thickly!!! I've been making all kinds of projects from the upcoming Carbon Valley Holiday Marketplace (craft fair) next weekend (Saturday, 11/13) in Frederick. I've been organizing all my Christmas and assorted greeting cards, creating gift tags, gift cards and treat boxes/bags. It's amazing how much effort goes into organizing for an event like this. As always - it's a learning experience! I'm excited to see how it goes!
One of my projects is a 4 card pack of the new Christmas Whimsy Card Kit. I worked on this at our last monthly kit gathering on 10/29. We all worked on Christmas cards at our last gathering. One of us is done with her Christmas Cards - great job Carrie Kollmar! My sister, Diana, has made some awesome cards for her 1st Christmas Card making adventure - great job Diana!
The coordinating colors for this whimsical card kit is a soft muted palette of Christmas Colors: Balmy Blue, Basic Gray, Crumb Cake, Evening Evergreen, Gray Granite, Misty Moonlight, Poppy Parade, Real Red, So Saffron, Soft Succulent, Soft Suede.
- printed die cuts, die-cut boxes, cellophane treat bags, adhesive, and more!
