Cute Halloween & Frightfully Cute Bundle

by Bonnie Hershfeldt, September 12, 2021

Autumn is almost here!  Hubby had the TV on this afternoon and it was loud and clear Football season has started!  That's always one clear sign that Autumn is on it's way.  What's your favorite part of Autumn?  Football, sweaters, Pumpkin Spice Lattes?  Sweater weather is mine!  That and making sweet Halloween cards.

My sister came over today and helped me to make 12 adorable cards to stock my card stash.  I used the adorable Cute Halloween 6"x6" Designer Series Paper and Stamp Set and the equally adorable Frightfully Cute Bundle to make 3 sets of 4 different cards.  My upline, Joey Hartman, designed the pink bat card for our August Make n' Take.  I incorporated the same design and used the Cats and Pumpkins, Skulls and Ghost DSP's.  They are all perfect for making delightful Halloween cards.   I think my favorite is the Skulls!

Instructions to make this Cute Halloween card are as follows:

Basic Black Card Stock - cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4"

Basic White Card Stock - cut 2 at 5 1/4" x 4".
  • Using the Well Defined Stamp set and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad, stamp the Halloween sentiment on 1 of the Basic White Card stock pieces.
  • In the lower right hand corner, using the Cute Halloween Stamp set and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad, stamp the skull outline and then stamp eyes and smile of your choice inside the skull.
  • Using same stamp set and Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin' Pad, stamp the 3 candy corns next to the stamped skull.  Color the bottom open space on each candy corns with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.
  • Adhere to the inside of the Black Card with Stampin' Seal.
Basic White Card Stock - cut at 3/4" x 2 3/4".
  • Using the Frightfully Cute Stamp Set and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad, stamp the "Happy Halloween to you" sentiment.
  • Die cut the sentiment Using the long thin label from the Frightfully Cute Die Set.
Beautifully Penned DSP (Sale-a-Bration) - Grey and White striped - cut at 1 1/4" x 5 1/4"

Black Glitter Paper - cut at 3/4" x 5 1/4".  Cut at 2 3/4" x 2 3/4, back with a 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" piece of Adhesive Sheets.  Die cut the tree from the Frightfully Cut Die set.

Cute Halloween 6"x6" DSP - Skulls - cut at 2" x 5 1/4"
  • Adhere the Skulls strip to the Black Glitter Paper strip with about 1/8" - 1/4" of the Black Glitter paper showing underneath the Skulls strip using Stampin' Seal+.
  • Adhere this unit on top of the Grey/White Striped Beautifully Penned DSP with about 1/2" of the Grey/White Striped Beautifully Penned DSP using Stampin' Seal.
  • Adhere this unit on top of the remaining Basic White 5 1/4 x 4" card stock using Stampin' Seal.
  • Using the Cute Halloween Stamp Set and Pumpkin Pie Classic Stampin' Pad, stamp the 3 candy corns three times down the Basic White strip.  Color the bottom of each candy corn with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.
  • Adhere to the Basic Black card front using Stampin' Seal.
Highland Heather - cut 2" x 2 1/2".
  • Die cut using the label from the Frightfully Cute Die Set.  Adhere to the center of the card front using 4 Black Stampin' Dimensionals, lining up the points where the Skulls and the Black Glitter Paper meet.
  • Adhere the tree on top of the label to the left.
Basic Gray - cut 1 1/4" x 1 1/4".
  • Die cut using the owl from the Frightfully Cute Die Set.  Adhere with a Mini Stampin' Dimensional to the label to the right of the tree.
  • Place a small yellow sequin from the Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins on each eye of the owl.
  • Adhere the sentiment under the owl with 3 Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to the Highland Heather label.

Which one is your favorite?  Skulls, Cats and Pumpkins, Ghosts or Bats!
