Hello from Deadwood, SD! I hope you had a wonderful fall weekend even though it may still feel like summer! We took a road trip for a long weekend in Deadwood. Beautiful Indian Summer - it's still in the high 80's here! We left on Thursday afternoon and stopped to visit my husbands Aunt and cousins in Holyoke, CO. It was a great visit! Friday, we arrived in Deadwood and spent the evening walking the streets of Deadwood and enjoyed seeing the historical buildings. Saturday, we took a drive out to Devil's Tower in Wyoming. Such an unusual land formation! Sunday, a drive out to Wall to see Wall Drug Store and a little souvenir shopping. While shopping in one of the stores, we heard that Kansas was playin in Deadwood that evening. We snagged front row tickets to see Kansas at the Deadwood Mountain Grand Event center - what a bonus! And the extra bonus was to see some beautiful fall colors with no traffic on our drive home today! It was a nice break from work. What did you do to enjoy the weekend?
Before I left, I created more Halloween cards with my Frightfully Cute Stamp set. The design came from September's Love to Create team meeting's Make n' Takes using the Frightfully Cute Bundle. Here is my alternative card using a super black and white striped paper from the 2021 Annual Catalog's Hostess special - Pattern Play 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper in place of the Orange and Black paper from the Cute Halloween 6" x 6" DSP in the original card design as I had used all of it up making treat boxes!

Autumn is almost here! Hubby had the TV on this afternoon and it was loud and clear Football season has started! That's always one clear sign that Autumn is on it's way. What's your favorite part of Autumn? Football, sweaters, Pumpkin Spice Lattes? Sweater weather is mine! That and making sweet Halloween cards.
My sister came over today and helped me to make 12 adorable cards to stock my card stash. I used the adorable Cute Halloween 6"x6" Designer Series Paper and Stamp Set and the equally adorable Frightfully Cute Bundle to make 3 sets of 4 different cards. My upline, Joey Hartman, designed the pink bat card for our August Make n' Take. I incorporated the same design and used the Cats and Pumpkins, Skulls and Ghost DSP's. They are all perfect for making delightful Halloween cards. I think my favorite is the Skulls!
