Happy Monday! I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter weekend. What did you do to celebrate? It was a beautiful weekend in Frederick - sunshine, food and family! For once the Au Gratin Potatoes came out perfect! Lol!
Springtime brings new life and with new life - Grandparents are "born". One of my crafting friends recently became a Grandma to a beautiful little granddaughter. I had the perfect stamp set from the 2021 January - June mini catalog just waiting to create with! Treasures of Life Stamp set is a very special set expressing the joy that these precious little treasures bring to our lives!
I used Blushing Bride Cardstock and Smoky Slate from the Subtles 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper for my card base. I used a bit of Blushing Bride 3/8" Metallic Ribbon and Pearl Basic Jewels to embellish this simple stamped card. I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for the sentiment and image. Tuxedo Black Memento Ink was used this lovely grandma holding her new bundle of joy. I can just smell that babies precious little head!
This card was made with the same card supplies. This time I used the adorable little loving hands. This one just brings tears to my eyes as I remember my little ones presenting a special gift for their grandma or grandpa. I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies again to showcase the images and sentiments. I find myself using these dies most frequently to showcase simple stamped images. Great News! They are carrying over to the new 2021 - 2022 Annual Catalog.

Mother's Day is coming fast along with Graduations! This week, I'll be working on some Mother's Day cards for an upcoming card swap for next week.
