Happy Monday! Wow this weekend went really fast! On Saturday, I participated in the Creativate Spring 2021 Retreat, full day of inspiration designed by the Creativate team. I was so inspired by a couple of mixed media techniques I can't wait to gather my supplies to create my spin. The entire event was based upon using what you have - a great opportunity to use some of my retiring 2020 - 2021 Annual Catalog products!
While watching the projects come to life, I finished projects from Joey Hartman's Stamp Camp featuring 3D projects using Springtime Joy. She designed 4 adorable treat boxes for Easter - especially the bunny treat boxes!
The Pink Bunny was the one that Joey included in her Springtime Joy Gift & Card Kit. I exchanged the bunny's black card stock eyes for Googly eyes with Eyelashes that I found from Amazon. I made a couple of Chocolate Bunnies - a milk chocolate one and a dark chocolate one! The Mini Curvy Keepsake Box was brilliant to use for these adorable little treat boxes. I was able to put 5 chocolate eggs inside the box.
The next project was a small treat "bag". I added pearls to the lamb's flower wreath around her cute little head! I added the Soft Seafoam green strip at the bottom to provide a little contrast. Joey designed the bags to close with the Clever Clasps. I hadn't used them yet - what a perfect "embellishment" to use for closing treat bags!
The next treat container used small clear card boxes. I loaded mine up with pastel M&M's. I loved to see what's inside!
I ran mine through the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder. I saw this from a recent you tube and thought to myself - huh - will this really work? And wow it worked really well! I used the one on the right with the flowers and butterflies - so cute!
The last treat container project used the Mini Paper Pumpkin box. The image below is the one that Joey designed. I made an alternate one for my son in NYC that used Petal Pink 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. I tied it with Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon. I lined my box with Purple Crinkled Paper "grass". It was a perfect lining for the chocolates and coordinated nicely with the Petal Pink theme.
Congratulations to Janice Miller - she was the lucky winner for the Retiring 2020 - 2021 Annual Catalog Challenge! She guessed 8 out of 10 retiring products correct. Janice was the only one that played along - lucky Janice - she received all 3 prizes!
The Last Chance Product List from the 2020 - 2021 Annual Catalogs was released last Wednesday. You can download from the right hand side of the website by clicking on the Last Chance Product List 2020 - 2021 Annual Catalog image or from download by navigating to the menu and click on Catalogs > Last Chance Product List 2020 - 2021 Annual Catalog. I went through my catalog this weekend and highlighted all the retiring products. I also pulled all the retiring items from my supplies. I found a few items that I hadn't yet played with - oh no!!! I'll be working on some projects in the next few weeks for those!
The official date of retirement is May 3, 2021 - you have time to order anything that you may have been holding off on ordering until then. However, some of the retiring products are going quickly, so don't miss out!
April's Paper Pumpkin - So Cool - is available to order from 3/11 - 4/10. This kit is fun for all ages. This is a wonderful way to make memories by sharing the fun with the special kiddos in your life! This is a cool, fresh way to share your passion for crafting and engage them in creative pursuits they can enjoy for a lifetime.
The So Cool kit includes enough supplies to make 12 fresh, fun-shaped cards - 6 popsicles and 6 blank semicircles to color - with coordinating envelopes. It features vivid watercolor images, 2 matching sticker sheets, and a versatile stamp set with sentiments the entire family can use all year long.
And April's Kit coordinates with the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper from the 2021 January - June Mini Catalog. I love this DSP! Combine the kit and the paper for even more creative possibilities. Coordinating colors for next month's kit: Blackberry Bliss, Bermuda Bay, Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Old Olive, and Teracotta Tile.
All Paper Pumpkin kits come with a ink spot, a smaller version of a normal sized Classic Stampin' Pad, glue dots and dimensionals. The only thing that you need to provide is your Stampin' Seal, Paper Trimmer and Paper Snips!
Please use the End of March Host Code when placing your order under $150 - 93ARPFWD. If your order is over $150, you will want to collect your Stampin' Up! rewards to include in your order!
I go for my 1st round of COVID vaccine tomorrow - we were able to get my husband scheduled around the sametime - Yipee! We are so anxious to travel - especially to see our youngest in the Big Apple.
Wishing you a wonderful week and Easter Holiday.
Keep on Crafting!
