Best Friend's Valentines

Valentine's Day will be here before we know it.  I just love to create Valentine's Day cards.  Pink is my favorite color - really - could you tell?  LOL!  Anytime that I get an excuse to play with my Pink inks, paper and embellishments - I'm in seventh heaven.  I got to spend time with my bestie this weekend.  Spending time with her and her daughter always get my creative juices flowing.  Always good to have some gal time!  The creative juices flowed freely and I had a great time creating cards to celebrate the day of Love with my Stampin' Up! products. 

I designed 4 cards around a number of beautiful products for my Stampin' Up! supplies:  From the 2021 January - June Mini Catalog: Love You Always Suite Collection, Hearts & Kisses Bundle, Friendly Flamingo Bundle; From the 2020 - 2021 Annual Catalog: Stitched Be Mine Die set; From the 2021 Sale-A-Bration Brochure: Punch Party Host Stamp Set.  This week's card is from the Love You Always Suite Collection.

The Pink in this soft friendship card is Blushing Bride.   The Always in My Heart Stamp set includes these sweet flowers, leaves and the inside sentiment "The Best Kind of Friend is the Kind Like You".

The card front was designed to use the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper.  This beautiful foiled paper package includes 4 each of 3 designs in Blushing Bride, Roccoco Rose, and Sahara Sand.  This SDSP is so very pretty!  Feeds my Pink appetite!

Instructions for the card pictured above:  

1. Cut Whisper White or new Basic White cardstock at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2".  Score in half at 4 1/4" for card base.  
2. Cut Blushing Bride Specialty Designer Series Paper at 4" x 5/1/4" .  Adhere to the Basic White card front in landscape position with Stampin' Seal+ or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  
3. Cut Basic Black cardstock at 3 1/8" x 4 1/2".   
4. Die cut Whisper White or new Basic White cardstock with Rectangle Stitched die that measures 3" x 4 3/8".  
5. Using the Always in My Heart stamp set and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad, stamp 5 of the 6 petaled flower outline stamp in a cluster leaving some open spaces to insert leaf stems.  Stamp 4 outline of leaf from same stamp set around the flower cluster.   
6. Using the stamp set, stamp the insides of the flower outline with the 6 petal flower solid stamp with Blushing Bride Stampin' Pad.  Stamp the insides of the leaf with Old Olive Stampin' Pad (stamp off once).  
7. Adhere the stamped rectangle with Stampin' Seal+ or Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the Basic Black Rectangle.  Adhere the Black Framed stamped rectangle with Stampin' Seal+ or Multipurpose Liquid Glue centered onto the SDSP card front. 
8. Using the Always in My Heart stamp set and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad, stamp "The Best Kind of Friend is The Kind Like You" inside the card.  Stamp the outline of cluster of 3 hearts next to the sentiment. 
9. Using the Always in My Heart stamp set and Blushing Bride Stampin' Pad, stamp the solid of cluster of 3 hearts to fill in the outline of cluster of 3 hearts.  
10. Embellish the card front with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
