Fine Art Gallery

Hope all my crafting friends had a wonderful Christmas!  I'm hoping that you were able to spend the holiday with your loved ones and if you weren't, I'm hoping that technology linked you in a special way!  It was a quiet Christmas day for us.  I made a Christmas dinner that could have feed 9 for only 4.  Lots of leftovers to enjoy for the next week.  Did you get any new crafting supplies/tools under the tree?  I've got a brilliant one coming this week from my boys and hubby - a new DSLR camera!  Oh I can't wait to try it out!  I'm hopeful that I can get some photography tips in use soon!

It was great to be able to spend sometime in my crafting room organizing my supplies after the flurry of last minute Christmas cards.  I had a few unfinished items on my desk that were calling out to be finished.  It felt good to get something accomplished other than holiday themed projects completed today.  I was inspired to bring out the Gilded Leafing embellishment for this project - yippee!  I had two beautiful leftover card fronts from one of the Fine Art Designer Series Paper sheets overlaid with the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Paper.  Felt like an artist making a masterpiece!       

Wouldn't you love to receive this card for your birthday?  I know that I would.  January is the month to spend making Birthday cards for my 2021 stash!  The Stampin' Up!® Fine Art Floral Suite is gorgeous and makes some fabulous birthday cards!  This artistic stamp set is in the new 2021 January - June Mini Catalog and available to order starting January 5, 2021.

January Paper Pumpkin

One more day off - wow did my week of vacation go quickly.  One more day to play and then back to work for 3 short days and another long weekend to look forward to.  What fabulous plans do you have for New Year's Eve this year?  We are staying home and hunkering down for the night - no festivities planned.  Hoping to spend some time back in the craft room.
