A Gnome Goes Halloween

by Bonnie Hershfeldt, September 20, 2020

Welcome Crafting Friends!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  Hubby had to work yesterday, so I got my chores done early and spent some time at my crafting table before I had to put in some time for my daytime job!  I was in the zone and enjoyed playing and getting caught up on some inspirational You Tubes.  And a little more training for my next step, Pinterest.  So much to learn!   World Cardmaking Day is Saturday, October 3.  In this coming week's newsletter, there will be information about a workshop I'll be hosting that day!  I've been working on 3 card designs and one 3d project for this event.  If you haven't yet signed up for my newsletter, there is a link on the upper right menu or a pop up for signup will appear shortly after you open the blogsite.  I'll post more details in next week's blog as well.

I'm having so much fun playing with Halloween themed designs.  I pulled out some Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape and Black Cardstock along with the Magic in This Night Designer Series Paper to play with.  While searching on Pinterest and the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Planning site, I found the cutest green witch made from the Gnomes for the Holidays stamp set that Ann Gassman Murray had designed.  What a unique way to use this set!  I used one of the bearded Gnomes from the stamp set and dressed him up in his Halloween attire.  He is so stinking cute!!!!  I'm going to have to make some more Gnomes for Christmas cards with this adorable stamp set soon.
